Owner and head chef, Lexie Fankhouser, has years of experience in the kitchen and has developed a vast repertoire of culinary skills and techniques. She’s also a seasoned traveler, having lived in cities across the US, Europe and in Australia and everywhere she goes informs her palette and culinary abilities.
She specializes in dishes from all over the world and is always learning and experimenting with new flavors and ingredients.

Lexie Fankhouser
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I now live and work in Newburgh, Indiana. There were several stops along the way...
​
I have had the opportunity to live, travel, and explore diverse cuisines across the United States, Australia, and Europe. Wherever I go, whether I'm moving to a new place or just visiting, I have a tried and true foodie ritual. First stop: treasure hunting in grocery stores. Next up: finding the authentic restaurants. And if I'm lucky: I'll cook and eat with a local.

Through these experiences, I have come to realize that while each corner of the world has its local flair, there are striking similarities among global cuisines once you delve deeper.
​
For example, consider herb and oil sauces like chimmichurri, gremolata, zhoug, sofrito, salsa verde, pesto, nam jim jaew, and green chutney. Despite their regional variations, they all share a common theme and highlight how flavors can transcend borders, bringing people together. Wherever you are in the world, there's always common ground to be found through food. I have learned that food is not just sustenance, but a universal language that connects people from all walks of life.
